Artist Pop-Up 2018...So pop on over!

Jersey Shore Arts Center, you know the large brick architectural anomaly located on the corner of Main Street and Main Avenue in Ocean Grove New Jersey is opening the North Parking lot to local artists, crafters and artisans to display and sell their wares on July 28 between noon and 5 pm. This is the first outdoor event of it's sort for the organization since the building's refurbishment in 1997. This event will promote local artists as well as musicians, who will perform their own work at the event as well as promote the Jersey Shore Arts Center as an organization.

Did you know the Jersey Shore Arts Center, originally the Old Neptune High School, was once regarded the “Architectural Splendor” by the 1908 World’s Fair. This unique building, with it's grand staircase, large and small theater spaces and unique studios, still needs renovations and updates. Fundraising activities like the Artist Pop-Up, allow the organization to continue these efforts and allow the arts to flourish in Ocean Grove and the surrounding communities.

Currently, the Artist Pop-Up is looking for local artists, crafters and artisans willing purchase spaces for $35 for 5 hours. Entry forms must be completed and payment received to reserve the space. To receive an entry form, email the Jersey Shore Arts at info@jerseyshoreartscenter.org. We do require photos of original work to be submitted with the entry. There are up to 30 spaces available, please submit all forms and payment by July, 2018. For more information, call the main office at 732-502-0050 between 9am - 2pm, Monday through Friday.
