One of the ways we support our local artists is providing affordable low cost studio space allowing them to focus on their craft and grow creatively.
Bio + Mission - Jacqui Jacques is a multi-media visual artist, working mainly in textiles, apparel design, and intuitive styling. She is behind the small-batch, sustainable clothing line called Earthly, working with only botanical dyes, earth minerals & plant-based pigments to color cloth. Under Earthly, she strives to help fuel the movement towards a sustainable future, not only with her creations but through hosting gatherings that foster sovereignty and accessibility within sustainability. Beyond using the space to create her own bodies of work, she looks forward to collaborating with other artists in residence at the JSAC as well as the local community. She hopes to create a space to further her craft while actively building a beautiful, inclusive and creative community here.
