Shore Thing Theater
Shore Thing Theater is a 501c3 non-profit and the only brick-and-mortar improv training facility and performance space in Monmouth County. Our mission is to provide affordable and quality live entertainment and arts education to enrich the lives of our diverse community. We offer:

Adult (18+) Introduction and Intermediate improv classes

Youth (ages 7-12) and Teen (ages 13-17) improv classes

Business and community improv workshops
Spring 2023 Improv Class Schedule:
February 6 — April 3 (no classes held the week of February 27)
MONDAYS
Intro to Improv 7:00p-8:15p
Continuing Improv 8:30p-9:45p
SATURDAYS
Improv for KIDS (aged 7-12) 12:00p-1:00p
Drop-In Workshop 1:00p-2:30p (adults; $25 per session)
Classes are $200 for an 8-week course. Scholarships and sliding scale options are available.

We’re also home to ComedySportz Jersey Shore, a fast paced, interactive improvised comedy show played as a sport. You, the Loyal Fanz, will witness a match of wits and bits as the Red Team and the Blue Team compete for your laughs! The Referee will get suggestions, time the games and call the fouls. After the games have been played, points earned and laughter shared, the trophy is awarded and everyone cheers! Bring your family, co-workers, dates, schools, birthday parties, or just yourself! Rated "E" for Everyone!
Shows are Saturdays at 7:30 pm in the Herbst Theater on the third floor of the Jersey Shore Arts Center. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
