Basic Drawing

(4 Week Session): An introduction to basic still life drawing. Students will learn the basics of rendering objects in view, using a variety of drawing materials and still life options. Woodcut Printmaking
6 pm - 8 pm | $120
(4 Week Session): An introduction to traditional relief printmaking involving wood. Students will learn about the tools and materials, how to safely and effectively use the tools, how to ink and print wood blocks. Victorian Craft Series: Victorian Paper Bead-Making

Learn how Victorian women used scraps of paper to turn them into wearable works of art! We will learn historic techniques, then add a modern twist to give beads a shine. Participants will create a necklace and matching bracelet. All materials supplied. Register here.

Victorian Craft Series: Scrapbooking with Victorian-style Papers

You might remember the old-style plain black scrapbooks with corner photo mounts. Today’s scrapbooks are a far cry from those, and are truly works of art! The essence of the Victorian era has been captured on paper and we will create a custom mini-photo album using Victorian style papers. All materials supplied. Register here.

Victorian Craft Series: Greeting Card Making

Participants will make a set of six greeting cards “a la Victorian” – using modern papers with a Victorian flair. Participants will be able to choose from assorted messages (Thinking of You, Hello, Get Well, Happy Birthday etc.) to make the cards suit their own needs. All materials supplied. Register here.
