Artists  will listen and create work set to the rhythm of the music played. A  set play list of 5 songs will be defined once sign ups begin. The genre  for the first meeting will be 60s songs. The only rules are that the  image remain abstract and that water-based paints are used. (Please no oil paint). We have a limited amount of easels, artists are welcome to  bring their own as well as their own materials - artists are welcome to use ink pen/pencil, marker, watercolor or pastel. Refreshments are available. $10 donation at the door will allow for coffee, tea and hot  chocolate service and a light snack. After the final song, we review  each other's work and discuss future projects. After the 3rd session of  Rhythm and Art, we can discuss and compare the different pieces and how  music changed the outcome of the artist's work.
