"My name is Elysia Forsyth. I am a local fine artist from the small town of Point Pleasant. I graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2008, with my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. I am currently working in acrylic paint on large canvases. I consider the style I work in to be Pop Art. I am inspired by many things for my art. I get my inspiration from trips i have taken. I am also inspired by past and present popular culture.
I have been lucky enough to have had a few group gallery shows in Asbury in 2013. I also had the privilege of painting a large scale mural at a well known factory called Johns Manville in Edison, NJ in 2015. I also donate my time to charity as often as i can. I was in “The Painted Chair” auction in 2014 raising money for The Lustgarten Foundation. I have painted window art for “Paint The Town PINK” at the Manasquan Savings bank in 2016. Along with many other small auction donations for smaller groups.
I have come along way and I am still growing as an artist. I am working daily to continue to make inspirational works. I hope to keep sharing my talent with the world."
